In any language, films submitted to the Chitra Bharati FILM FESTIVAL 2024 will be required to have English subtitles. Silent films are also eligible for submission. Rules – Terms and Conditions

Registration:

  • All participants must register online on the official website of Bharatiya Chitra Sadhna (www.chitrabharati.org) and pay the requisite registration fee to participate in the Chitra Bharati Film Festival 2024 (CBFF 2024)
  • Registration fees:
    • For Campus Films: Rs. 100/-
    • For all other categories: Rs. 500/-
  • No refunds or cancellations are permitted at any stage after submitting entries.

Submission Process:

  • Films must be submitted through a Google Drive link. In case of any difficulties in uploading, physical submissions on a pen drive or DVD are accepted.
  • Submissions should be accompanied by:
    • Full contact details of the sender, including mobile number, email id, and postal address.
    • Synopsis of the film (not exceeding 300 words).
    • Bio data of the director.
    • Crew list or list of actors.
    • Participation letter from the producer, college authorities, or legal right holders.
    • Details of awards received, festival screenings, and release information.
    • Film poster and other publicity materials.
  • On selection of the film for the competition section, a Blue-Ray or Pen-Drive copy may be requested if required.

Submission Timeline:

  • Submissions open from 1st September 2023.
  • The last date of submission is 30th November 2023. Films must reach the festival organizers by this date.
  • Selected films will be notified before 15th January 2024.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Films must have been produced between 1st January 2022 and 30th November 2023 to be eligible for participation in the festival.
  • Films must be produced in India, and the producer/director must be of Indian origin.

Declaration and Rights:

  • The producer/director or legal IPR holder of the film must sign a declaration letter along with their submission.
  • The festival reserves the right to reject entries or cancel the selection of films if the submitted declarations are found to be factually false or incorrect.
  • Jury decisions will be final and cannot be challenged.
  • Bharatiya Chitra Sadhna reserves the right to use the film or part of the film for publicity or screening purposes at any place in India or abroad.
